Get cooking with some local produce...

Spring clean the home while doing some good, too...
What better time to crank out some spring cleaning than while locked up at home? Enjoy a sense of activity and productivity rummaging under beds, up in attics, inside garages and within kitchen cupboards as you clean up the house. With all those items bundled up in bags, consider donating to a local charity. Amid a vast shortage of donations to many organizations within King County and the Puget Sound region due to cancelled spring fundraisers, the Union Gospel Mission, Mary's Place, Food Lifeline and United Way of King County have requested donations. Individuals can find a charity to support at kingcounty.gov/audience/employees/giving/find-a-nonprofit.aspx.
