“They are available and the same is true of [Mert] Muldur. It’s not guaranteed Berardi and [Gregoire] Defrel will recover too,” the coach told Sassuolo Channel.
“Surely, [Francesco] Caputo is not available. Sassuolo must be proud of what we’ve done so far,” he continued.
“We must be proud of the mentality we showed against Roma and Inter. We can improve, but I expect the same spirit in tomorrow’s game.”
De Zerbi also praised Pep Guardiola and Marcelo Bielsa after Leeds’ 2-1 over Manchester City on Saturday.
“I didn’t watch the game, but I will for sure, because Guardiola and Bielsa are the coaches I like the most.
“I saw the interviews, and you can immediately spot the difference. Guardiola said Bielsa would win the title if he coached Manchester City and said City would not deserve to win despite 20 shots on target.
“It is an honesty and objectivity different from what we are accustomed to.”
