The French veteran publicly announced his plans to leave the Rossoneri on a free transfer in the summer, heading off to the MLS to join Los Angeles FC, giving him one final adventure in his storied career.
Milan have long been looking for a new number nine to lead the squad and have considered a number of options ahead of the summer, including Bologna’s Joshua Zirkzee, Feyenoord’s Santiago Gimenez and RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko.
