Juventus director Cristiano Giuntoli assures there is ‘no rush’ for transfers and hints Max Allegri could ‘reach 600 or 700’ games for the club ahead of tonight’s Coppa Italia quarter-final with Frosinone.
It kicks off at the Allianz Juventus Stadium in Turin at 20.00 GMT.

The winner will be decided tonight, whether it’s after 90 minutes, extra time or even penalties, and go on to face Lazio in the two-legged semi-final.
“The Coppa Italia is a very important competition that we care about,” insisted Giuntoli on Mediaset.
“It is a delicate match, Frosinone cause everyone problems and have impressed in the Coppa too.”
That is an understatement, as Eusebio Di Francesco’s side crushed Napoli 4-0 at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona in the Round of 16 tie.
“Every match is a test, it could allow us to reach the semi-final and further boost the self-confidence of the group.”
It also represents the 400th match on the Juventus bench for coach Allegri, so could he even reach 500 at this club?
“Even 600 or 700, he has no limits,” replied the director.
Inevitably, Giuntoli was asked about the January transfer window, especially as Juve are reported to be hijacking Napoli’s approach for Udinese midfielder Lazar Samardzic.
“We are happy with the squad at our disposal and do not have any particular needs to cover. We will evaluate any eventual opportunities, but so far there have not been any.”
A midfielder could be required to fill the gap left by Paul Pogba and Nicoló Fagioli, who are both suspended due to off the field issues.
“We’ll see if there are the right conditions, both economic and in football terms. The window is still long, we are in no rush.
“This team is doing very well, so let’s keep our feet on the ground and keep working, then we’ll see where we are at the end of the season.”
