Monza coach Raffaele Palladino will be out of contract in July and it is reported that Benfica have shown an interest in appointing him.
The tactician was promoted from the youth team to the main job as an interim in September 2022 and never looked back, promoted full-time and with a contract that expires on June 30.
In both seasons, he managed to steer Monza to mid-table comfort and just outside the race for European qualification, earning him interest from numerous clubs.
Palladino attracting interest
Those linked so far this summer include Napoli, Milan, Torino, Juventus, Fiorentina and Bologna, but Tuttomercatoweb now suggest that even those abroad have started to pay attention.
Palladino has seemingly been approached by Portuguese giants Benfica, who it is claimed met with the coach over the last few days.
The former player only celebrated his 40th birthday a couple of weeks ago.
His record as a Serie A coach is of 25 victories, 20 draws and 21 defeats.
